Snowmen at Night
I am honestly not sure if having the snowmen outside your house animate and go on adventures is a fantastic idea or a little creepy. My kids always thought it was a fantastic book so I will go with fun, not freaky!
However, I find the Snowmen at Night (affiliate link) series amazing for counting and shape identification. I would suggest assigning students a page of the book and asking them to do a counting exercise or shape hunt. I have created one here as an example.
If you are looking for an opportunity to incorporate writing and math I like this activity idea from Control-Alt-Achieve. Students can create their snow person and then write a story about what their snow person would do at night.
